One-Off Project — No Monthly Commitment

Business Valuation & Financial Modelling

Understand exactly what your business is worth — and why. Professional DCF and multiples-based valuations, complete financial models, and plain-English reports that hold up to scrutiny. From £900 per entity exc. VAT.

Use Cases

When do you need a valuation?

Selling your business

Know your number before you enter negotiations. Understand what drives value in your business — and what buyers will scrutinise most.

Raising investment

Arrive at investor meetings with a defensible valuation and a financial model that stands up to due diligence. Build credibility from the first conversation.

Buying a business

Avoid overpaying. An independent valuation and model helps you stress-test the asking price and understand what assumptions you’re really buying into.

Shareholder disputes

A rigorous, documented valuation provides an objective reference point for resolving disagreements over equity value — before they escalate.

Management buyout (MBO)

Structure the deal correctly from the start. Model the post-acquisition cashflows, debt service capacity and equity returns before committing.

Incentive schemes & EMI

HMRC valuations for Enterprise Management Incentive (EMI) options require a defensible, documented methodology — not a back-of-the-envelope number.

How It Works

The process

1

Enquiry & scoping

Tell me about your business — sector, size, purpose of the valuation. I’ll confirm scope and price within 12 hours.

2

Information gathering

You share 2–3 years of financial data (management accounts or statutory accounts). I’ll send a simple checklist so you know exactly what’s needed.

3

Analysis & modelling

I build the financial model, run the valuation methodologies, and stress-test the assumptions. Typically 3–5 working days from receipt of information.

4

Report & debrief

You receive the Excel model and PDF report. We schedule a 30-minute call to walk through the findings, answer questions and discuss what the numbers mean for your situation.

Pricing

Transparent, fixed-fee projects

Business valuations start from £900 per entity exc. VAT. Final scope and price depend on the complexity of the business, number of entities, and whether a financial model is included. All projects are fixed-fee — agreed upfront, no billing surprises.

Standalone financial models are scoped individually. Enquire with details of your business and what you need the model for, and I’ll come back with a fixed quote within 12 hours.

Existing clients on the Compass Plan have financial modelling included as part of their monthly service.
