How the switch works
Initial assessment
Day 1
You fill in the short form. I review your situation and come back with honest advice on whether switching makes sense for you. No pressure, no obligation.
Professional clearance
Days 2–5
I contact your existing accountant via the standard professional clearance process. This is a routine procedure — they're required to respond. You don't need to have any awkward conversations.
Records transfer
Days 5–10
I receive your records from your previous accountant, review everything, and identify any gaps or issues. I'll let you know if anything needs attention.
Cloud setup
Days 10–14
I set up your cloud accounting (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage or FreeAgent), migrate your historical data, and configure your chart of accounts. Everything is tested and verified before going live.
Onboarding call
Day 14–15
I'll have a video call to walk you through your new setup, discuss your goals, and establish our working rhythm. From here, you're fully onboarded and we're working together month by month.
What you need to do
Almost nothing. Here's the full list:
- Fill in the enquiry form (30 seconds)
- Sign a letter of engagement (I send it, you sign digitally)
- Grant me access to your cloud accounting (if you already have one)
That's it. I handle professional clearance, record transfers, software setup, and migration. You don't need to contact your existing accountant or do any heavy lifting.
